Tuition and Fee Waiver Policy for Families Displaced by the Palisades and Altadena Fires
At Our Mother of Good Counsel School, we stand with families impacted by the Palisades and Altadena fires. In the spirit of compassion and community, we are offering tuition and fee waivers for families who have lost their homes or have been displaced by these devastating events.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the tuition and fee waivers, families must meet the following conditions:
Residency in Affected Areas
The family’s primary residence must have been located in an area affected by the Palisades or Altadena fires.
Displacement Due to the Fires
The family must provide documentation confirming displacement, such as:
A FEMA case number.
Insurance claim documentation.
A letter from a local government or relief agency verifying displacement.
Proof of Financial Need
Families must provide information about their current financial situation to assess the level of support needed.
What the Waiver Covers
Full or Partial Tuition Waivers: Covers tuition costs for the duration of the school year or until the family is resettled.
Fee Waivers: Waives all registration, enrollment, and technology fees.
